Pickup & Delivery Policy

Handled provides personal concierge services including laundry, lawn care, home cleaning, and errand running. This policy outlines how orders are scheduled, processed, and fulfilled.

Scheduling & Service Requests

  • All services must be scheduled in advance through our website
  • For laundry, items must be bagged and ready at the scheduled time
  • For lawn care, home cleaning, and errand services, pricing is determined after a needs assessment prior to scheduling
  • If items or access are not ready at the scheduled time, the appointment may need to be rescheduled

Laundry Bagging Requirements

  • Laundry should be placed in a standard 13-gallon bag unless otherwise specified
  • Each bag is treated as one unit of service
  • Bags should be securely tied or closed

Order Processing

  • Orders are processed after pickup or service arrival and handled individually
  • Laundry is never mixed with other customers' items
  • Final pricing for laundry is confirmed once your order is received; pricing for all other services is confirmed during the needs assessment

Turnaround Time

  • Standard laundry turnaround is within 48 hours after pickup
  • Timelines for other services will be communicated at the time of booking
  • You will be notified when your order or service is complete

Service Fulfillment

  • Laundry is returned to the same pickup/service address unless otherwise arranged
  • Please ensure the drop-off or service area is safe and accessible
  • Items may be left at your location if you are unavailable at the time of return

Missed Appointments

  • If we are unable to access your items or property, the service may need to be rescheduled
  • Repeated missed appointments may affect future service availability

Care & Responsibility

  • We handle all items and property with care, using appropriate methods for each service
  • For laundry, we use cold water and fragrance-free, allergy-friendly detergents by default
  • While we take every precaution, we are not responsible for damage resulting from normal wear, delicate fabrics, or pre-existing conditions
  • Please notify us of any special instructions at the time of booking
  • We recommend not including valuable or irreplaceable items with laundry orders

Service Area

  • Services are available within Moon Township and the West Hills of Pittsburgh
  • Orders placed outside of our service area may be declined or canceled
